Marble Cross of Contrast
Setting out for an afternoon of long awaited photography I decided to pop by the local grave yard, the shot was taken at 3.22pm and by then the February (2008) sun was casting a wonderful golden light. What attracted me to this little scene was the contrast between the marble stone and the rich colours of the greenery. Some mist or rain-droplets would have made this shot magical. Taken with my Nikon D70, fixed 50mm Nikon lens at f5 for 1/50th of a second.
