Perhaps not the most awe-inspiring photograph but, from a personal standpoint, it does posses a certain mood to it. Masterfully framed, despite the unwelcome scratches acquired from scanning an old weathered 6 x 4 print. The print appears to be filed in my November 2002 shots, though I suspect this was taken earlier in the year.

Taken in July 2000 (Beth would be about 6 years old here) with my old trusty Yashica Minster fixed 35mm pure mechanical camera. Unfortunately quite a bit of dust and scratches were revealed during the scan of this print, but nonetheless I believe this to be a wonderful little portrait, perhaps one of the first aimed portraits I shot.

Presented to you from a carefully scanned print (of 6 x 4). Its exposure is unchanged with no enhancements other than minor work to remove surface noise obtained from scanning a printed photograph. In addition I have adjusted the gamma to compensate for some extra lighting captured during the scan.

on TheRocks1 and 2 are great natural pictures, here Vicky is completely unaware of the camera and is entirely absorbed in the act of netting for rock pool creatures unknown. These were shot in 2003 using a Nikon F60 35mm.

I love the smooth plastic green of this artificial yet perfect frame, if I remember correctly we had some trouble getting her out this infant wheeled buggy. A wonderful smile, no forced expressions here, it was a lovely sunny day and a wonderful barbeque, one of the very few I have decided to attend.
