Sleeper Fungi
15/09/2008 by Woodsy.
After an extremely wet and dull (not to mention cold) week, the warm Sunday September sunshine was most welcome. During my walk through the often overlooked nature trails of Wicksteed park (Kettering) I came upon a glorious arrangement of old weathered train sleepers, and this little fungi (or fungus) caught my eye. Shot at f7.1 for 1/250second with my fixed 50mm Nikon lens.

Pocket Park Fungi
04/09/2008 by Woodsy.
Small delicate grouping of mushroom form fungi. Found on a late August day 2008 while strolling around a small pocket park in Leicester. The area in which these were found was entirely populated with various shapes and colours of fungi, quite marvellous. Shot using my Nikon 50mm fixed lense at f5.6 for 1/50second.
