Calm Through The Wood
04/09/2008 by Woodsy.

Another shot from the Peak District hike (2006). Here the trees provided a perfect natural frame for the calm waters in the background. One could almost sense the tress quietly observing the calm waters before them.

Tranquil Viaduct
29/08/2008 by Woodsy.
The atmosphere when taking this shot was amazing. During a day-long hike around the Peak District (2006) the weather had been largely calm but overcast, somewhat hindering our photography opportunities. However upon stopping for a well earned breather I began to suspect the clearing ahead would offer an interesting vantage point, this coupled with the interesting calm that seemed to settle over the valley created this magical little scene. Taken with a Nikon D70 at 70mm f8.
