Think Floyd – live at the Lighthouse Theatre Kettering.
There are many bands out there who have gained fame by keeping Pink Floyd’s material alive but few are as well produced, talented and in-sync with the material as Think Floyd. Their own renditions and subtle twists and contributions to the well known tracks are beautifully delivered.
I was blown away by this evenings session and awed by their choice of old and new Floyd titles, they have been on the scene for 20 years now and well worth checking out – www.thinkfloyd.net follow them on facebook
To mark the new Millennium Michael Spitteler set out to establish a locally hosted vintage steam show following his life-long passion, and thanks to the support of family, exhibitors and traders the Kettering Vintage Rally was born. Now in its 14th year the show boasts a huge arrangement of exhibits including: Classic Busses and Coaches, Military Vehicles, Vintage Motorcycles, Steam engines, Classic Campers, Classic Commercial Vehicles and a host of craft and trade stalls, not forgetting a cracking bar with a delicious range of real ales and entertainment.
The 2014 show will be on the 20th and 21st September at Cranford (Nr Kettering) Northamptonshire, NN14 4AW. Enquiries can be made to firstname.lastname@example.org – trade forms, craft and public camping forms and further details can be found at Kettering Vintage Rally & Steam Fayre.
